Longshoulder strap, which has the same striking bit buckles and the same gorgeous bioleather as the Roskilde bag.
Bioleather, or leather tanned with biodegradable vegetable oils, is a natural and ecological alternative. Vegetable tanning is a thousands-year-old method of making leather. Today, leather is tanned with water-soluble vegetable oils and tannins obtained from trees. A color paste made from biodegradable vegetable oils and tannins is rubbed into the hide by hand, making each hide unique. This also makes each bag unique.
Bioleather is always a bit stiff at first, but it softens up nicely with use. Bioleather is generally more expensive than chrome-tanned leather, as the process of making vegetable-tanned leather is largely manual and takes about two months. Vegetable-tanned leather is a more ecological, durable and high-quality option and it only gets better with use. Thanks to its durability, it offers good value for money and is a classic that never goes out of style.
