VIBAe Carbon Step™ insoles
VIBAe shoes are gentler than barefoot shoes because they have a very comfortable Carbon Step™ insole inside the shoe. The shoes do not have a midsole, but a removable and replaceable insole over time, which makes the shoes light and flexible.
The shoes are so-called zero drop shoes because the insole sinks with the body's weight during use, leveling the toes and heels to the same level. The wide last molds to the shape of your foot and there is enough space for the toes.

Background and Values
VIBAe was born from a collaboration between five friends: Tammy and Ludo from Malibu, California, and Minna, Kalle and Hannu from Finland. Their shared passion for quality footwear and sustainability led to the founding of the brand. VIBAe shoes are designed in Finland and California and handcrafted in a family-owned factory in Portugal. The brand supports local businesses by sourcing all materials from local suppliers.
Sustainable materials
VIBAe invests in environmentally friendly materials. All leather and suede shoes are made from vegetable-tanned, chrome-free leather, which is a by-product of the food industry. This approach supports responsible leather production through the Leather Working Group (LWG). The outsoles of the shoes are made of natural rubber, which increases durability and comfort, as well as lightness.
Ergonomics and comfort
VIBAe shoes combine stylish design with excellent comfort. The soul of the shoes is the removable Carbon Step™ insole, which molds to the foot, activating the small muscles of the foot. This, together with the shoe structure that adapts to the shape of the foot, ensures complete comfort, reminiscent of walking barefoot. The open cell structure of the insole prevents the growth of bacteria and reduces the formation of odors.
